Egg Hunt

When I was a kid, children hunted for real eggs at egg hunts. We'd take our cracked, warm, salmonella-ridden hard boiled eggs home, and our mothers would make us eat egg salad.

Kids nowadays have no idea how lucky they are to search for plastic eggs filled with jelly beans and chocolate. The day of our egg hunt this year was cold and windy, but just enough to make the egg hunters really appreciate their bounty.

On your mark, get set, run-Maddie-run!

Jack gathers his non-salmonella-ridden eggs.

Ben's smiling-it's a good haul!
