Snowman’s Land

We love snowmen.  Jack made ours himself this year.  Dave helped hoist the snowballs up, but Jack rolled them all and decorated it mostly by himself.

Our neighborhood definitely gets into the snowman spirit.  I love the assortment of hats and scarves and snowman accessories, although lots of face parts have fallen off, depending on how old the snowman is.  They were all way cuter a few weeks ago when they were younger (isn’t that just the way?)  There’s even a cute little snowdog!

The last photo is ours  from 2005….I hated leaving a blank space!

Of course by this time tomorrow, all these snowmen will be covered with a half inch of ice from the storm the weathermen have been warning us about for the last few days.  I can’t imagine that the groundhog will be able to see his shadow tomorrow, so (maybe?) there will be some good news arriving with the ice!

Have you made a snowman yet this year?

Love the one with actual snow arms! Yup, we made one (and by we I mean they) and yesterday I found Chase sitting on his head about 5 feet up. Sturdy little fella.

How fun!!! I love making a snowman! We made a tiny pathetic little thing that we tried to pass off as a snowman in Tennessee at Christmas! These are something to write home about! I love the snow dog!

What great snowmen! My favorite is the little snow dog. Wish I could send you some of our warmer weather.
