The tree’s been untrimmed, the stocking’s taken down, the cookies have all been eaten, someone broke my scale, and the pine needles in the carpet are taunting me.
i was so glad to take everything down...trying to start the new year right with eating habits....meanwhile I'm blogging and eating goldfish as we speak wondering if i'll ever step foot on the treadmill d-stairs
As much as I love our Christmas decorations I do enjoy the return to the simpliness of our home when we take them down. The youngest child (and his girlfriend) returned to college yesterday so quietness has returned. Even though I will miss him, now I can watch something besides football on TV!

I hate taking everything down. It is so depressing. No more good cheer, carols, and twinkling lights. I am with you... stupid January.
